Course Description: Paralleling Switchgear offers many advantages in providing redundancy, efficiency, and flexibility in system architecture. A well-designed Paralleling Switchgear topology will provide the owner with a very robust yet easy-to-operate system. Closed transition transfer eliminates the interruption of power when transferring between Utility and Generator power sources. In this course you will learn about the Sequence of Operation and common system configurations that are utilized in Paralleling Switchgear designs. The course is free of charge.
